This information is for the users of the movisensXS app.

movisensXS is a research tool consisting of a cloud platform and a smartphone app. Researching organisations can setup and configure research studies and define which kind of data will be acquired. The privacy policy for users of the movisensXS web platform can be found here.

If you take part in study you should always receive a concrete Privacy Policy from the researching organisation that is specific to the study.
The research organisation implementing the study is always your first point of contact.

In terms of the GDPR movisens is acting as the processor, being instructed by the controller (i.e. the research organisation implementing the study).

This generic privacy policy is there to inform you what type of data can be acquired with movisensXS:

The movisensXS app can acquire data also in the background, i.e. when the smartphone is not used.
