multiSENSE Research Project

Buildings, technology & heat: How the multiSENSE research project protects health

In the multiSENSE research project, an interdisciplinary team is working closely with care facilities and using state-of-the-art technologies to better understand the effects of heat waves on both buildings and vulnerable people.
By combining testimonials and objective measurements from people and indoor environments, multiSENSE takes a multi-modal approach to heat research.

A central component of multiSENSE is the combination of:

  • Experience reports from those affected who directly experience heat in their everyday lives
  • Objective measurement data collected from people and rooms using state-of-the-art sensor and measurement technologies by movisens
